Erasing Excuses:

Erasing All Your Doubts

Why You Deserve a Boudoir Experience

Erasing Excuses

When we are afraid or nervous, we make excuses. We make excuses for not taking care of ourselves. We say that we are too busy with work, we have to spend time with our spouse, or our kids have baseball practice/games. Other excuses are “I need to lose some more weight” or “I don’t have the money at this time”. No matter the excuse, you CAN do this. No matter what, you ARE worthy of self-love!

“I can’t seem to find the time for myself”

You must remember that if you are not taking the time for yourself mentally and physically then you can’t effectively take care of others, which is easier said than done. We oftentimes find it difficult to slow down and take the breaks mentally that we need which is why we’re passing this information to you. We have made some the same excuses above and need others or each other to “SLOW DOWN” or “TAKE A BREAK”.

At your boudoir shoot you’ll have this time to relax, breathe, take the break that you surely deserve. This is a time for you to stop thinking about how other might see you and see your true beauty come to life.

It’s important to take time for yourself. Why not take care of yourself mentally, physically, and even emotionally by transforming your outer self to match your inner beauty by getting your hair and makeup done and playing dress up or down in front of the camera.

“My weight is not where I want it to be. I’ll do it after I lose some more weight”

Advertising portrays a woman’s body type that only 5% of women actually possess. Why would you want to fit into such a tiny box just to please some else’s idea of how a woman should look?! Why do you feel that you have to be a certain size or weight to love yourself?! Why are you comparing your size or weight to another woman’s when no two women are alike?! As long as you are healthy you should love all of your curves. Be proud of where you are now and celebrate it with a photoshoot. If you decide to lose some weight later do another shoot to capture how far you’ve come.

“I don’t feel or look sexy, so a boudoir shoot is not for me”

NOT TRUE!

This is excuse is EXACTLY why you SHOULD do a boudoir shoot.

Oftentimes after being married for a while, having children, trying to get a better position at work we lose our femineity and/or sexuality. This is truly normal and okay! A great way to find this suppressed side again is to do a boudoir shoot. This could also reignite the spice between you and your significant other.

The most important thing to remember is that you don’t have to wear lingerie to look sexy. If lingerie doesn’t show your personality, then there are other outfits to choose from. If you’d like some of those ideas check out our blog post here!

“I don’t the money right now, and a boudoir shoot is an investment”

Most definitely a boudoir shoot IS an investment. It’s an investment in YOU. This is for your self-confidence and well-being. We offer payment plans. We do ask for a retainer to book then after that we can setup your payment plan so that it’s easier to book a shoot. If you have any questions about our payment plans send us an email at alan@aroseportraits.com or text us at (301) 720-0145.
